About
Our history
Trinacria Marina Apartment, located in a noble context in the heart of Palermo, has a fascinating history that dates back to the first decades of the nineteenth century. Originally built as the city's first hotel, the building was designed in 1840 by architects Andrea Gigante and Vincenzo Trombetta for the Prince of Trabia. The transcription placed above the entrance still recalls this illustrious origin today. Located above the Captive Walls, the building overlooks the current Foro Italico, once the Bourbon Forum.
A historic building
Inaugurated in 1844, the hotel welcomed illustrious guests, including the King of Bavaria. Its facade boasts two commemorative plaques commemorating the visits of Giuseppe Garibaldi and the Romanian patriot Nicola Balcescu. This building, full of history, offers visitors not only a comfortable stay but also a journey into the past, immersed in a context of great historical and cultural value. The attention to architectural details and its rich history make the structure one of a kind.
The Charm of Trinacria Marina Apartment
